The Perfect Curl

When it comes to hair, there’s certainly no one-size-fits-all texture, shape or colour.

Here, the Living Beauty Inc. Journal team shares their personal thoughts on what makes the perfect curl.

Over the years, I’ve learned that there really is no perfect curl, just the curl you have. Acceptance—that’s what makes the difference.

My idea of a perfect curl is hydration, definition and bounce.
— Mila Pankovic, Account Executive for Quebec and the Maritimes, Living Beauty Inc.
A perfect curl day means low maintenance, air-dried loose waves that are hydrated and flexible. Grey hair presents a new challenge for me but I’m excited to learn how to adapt to my changing hair-scape.
— Caila Stangl, Partner and Creative Director, Public Office
Every curl I possess has its own personality. Some are tight, some flyaway, some are more coiled, so perfect means they’re all working together—and hopefully, that includes minimal frizz.
